Hikari is the daughter of Setsuna and Genbu Minamoto, current heads of the Minamoto Estate. While she may look cute, sexy, and harmless, she is nothing short of a ruthless killer with an affinity for shiny things. She grew up a sheltered life, meeting a young, orphaned Hinote at the age of 10. As she grew older, however, she became more and more rebellious of her princess duties and eventually ran away at the age of 16. To make ends meet, she became a stripper until the age of 18 when she was finally of legal age to take on her family's business as a Grim Reaper.
